Strengthening Inclusion in Kribi: Strategic Assessment and Community Immersion

Dr. Coco Bertin, Director General of the Club of Rehabilitated Blind Youth of Cameroon (CJARC), led a delegation from the General Directorate, accompanied by partners of the SIPEH project, to Kribi, a seaside town in southern Cameroon, for a mission focused on the final evaluation of the project to strengthen the social inclusion of persons with disabilities.

Upon their arrival, the delegation took part in a strategic working session aimed at assessing the progress of the project, which seeks to promote the active participation of persons with disabilities in local food security policies. The meeting, held in a packed room, was marked by dynamic exchanges between local populations and SIPEH project partners, enabling a participatory review and laying the groundwork for future joint actions.

The day concluded with two key highlights: a visit to the plantain plantation, showcasing efforts toward local economic integration, and a moment of contemplation by the ocean, offering an opportunity to admire the natural beauty of the coastline and reflect on the greatness of creation.

This mission to Kribi is part of CJARC's ongoing efforts to promote the social inclusion of persons with disabilities, thereby strengthening their active participation in local development.
