- Autonomy Development: Emphasis is placed on everyday tasks, orientation, and mobility to prepare students for independent living.
- Renforcement de l’autonomie : L’accent est mis sur les gestes de la vie quotidienne, l’orientation et la mobilité, pour préparer les élèves à une vie indépendante.
- Inclusive Assessments: Tests and exams are adapted to remain accessible while evaluating the same skills as in mainstream schools.
Psychosocial Support
The Louis Braille School also provides psychosocial and educational support in collaboration with families to promote the child's overall development and ensure a calm and lasting schooling experience.
Through this specialized and inclusive pedagogy, the Louis Braille School strives to offer each student the opportunity to succeed despite their disability, and to build a dignified, independent, and promising future.
